ADMINISTRATOR LAUDS MINISTRY OF AVIATION FOR ORGANISING A TEAM BUILDING WORKSHOP FOR STAFF IN PSIN.

The Public Service Institute of Nigeria has organised a Team Building Workshop for twenty (20) senior Staff of the Ministry of Aviation. The programme which lasted for three days covered Interpersonal Relationship, Understanding Personality Traits in Teams and Management, Team Dynamics and Team Management, Team Building and Effective Delegation, Work Place Diversity and Management, Conflict Resolution, Negotiation and Influencing Skills, Team Work Activities and Case Studies.Addressing participants during the opening session of the Workshop, Director Studies and Learning Mrs Omobola Thomas who represented the Administrator/CEO, Dr. Abdul-Ganiyu Obatoyinbo mni, appreciated the Honourable Minister of Aviation for believing in the potentiality of the Institute to deliever on the expected/demand driven Workshop for staff of the Ministry.

She noted that the Institute has strong Adjunct Faculty members that comprise of outstanding serving and retired Permanent Secretaries, Serving/Retired Directors, Professors, academicians, high Skilled Professionals among others. She assured that the three days training will enhance their competency and skills as well as empower every participant to become Efficient, Productive, Incorruptible and Citizen-Centered (EPIC).

Director Human Resources Management, Ministry of Aviation Mrs Nwokoda Nkedi in her admonition stated that the training was aimed at developing and enhancing participants for effective and efficient service delivery. She advised participants to remain focused, pay rapt attention to details and asked questions when need be. According to her “to whom much is given, much is expected”.
