HOCSF COMMISSIONS LANDMARK PROJECTS IN PSIN

It was an epoch making event as the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo – Ita, commissioned landmark projects which includes 250 rooms male Hostel, Staff Clinic, Executive Suites and staff Club, HiiT Computer Centre. She also inspects several other projects including, President Muhammadu Buhari Auditorium, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Lecture Theatre, Winifred Oyo-Ita Lecture Theatre, and PSIN Primary School, in the Public Service Institute of Nigeria.

The successes recorded are in no doubt attributed to the doggedness of the Administrator/ CEO Public Service institute of Nigeria, Dr Abdul Ganiyu Obatoyinbo, to transform PSIN to a world class centre of excellence.

Speaking at the event, The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita stated that, the various projects through collaborations with the Private Sector, as demonstrated in PSIN under the Public/Private Partnership (PPP),  are  the PSIN Staff Clinic, PSIN Executive suite and staff Club,  HiiT Computer Centre, the 250 male hostel, Computer Based Centre (CBT) and other projects , has clearly demonstrated that, the dream of transforming the Civil Service, from cost generation to revenue generation centre is realisable.

She however expressed satisfaction over the projects and congratulated the Administrator, management and staff of the Institute, for the laudable achievements.

Earlier Dr Abdul-Ganiyu Obatoyinbo thanked the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita for her unflinching support to the Institute not only by providing resources but also through letters to organizations, thereby fostering collaborations between the Institute and other stakeholders.

He noted that the 2017-2020 Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan (FCSSIP) encourages MDAs to collaborate with the Private Sector, hence PSIN entered into partnership programmes. He however attributed the success stories, to the innovation drive and total support of Head of the Civil Service, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita.

The Director Programmes PSIN, Mrs. Omobola Thomas, in her vote of thanks expressed gratitude to the Head of Service of the Federation,  for the thorough inspection and commissioning of projects all day and also for all the support which according to her are too numerous to mention.

She however reiterated PSIN commitment to entrenching and transforming the Service, by making every Civil Servant in PSIN, to be Efficient, Productive, Incorruptible and Citizen-Centred (EPIC) through the Federal Civil Service Strategy Implementation Plan (FCSSIP).
