The Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) through  its provision of transformational training, research  and consultancy, has organised a 5-Day retreat for its management and senior staff in Abuja.The retreat which centres on Public Relations, Communications and Marketing is aimed at developing and enhancing the capacity of staff, in line with the demands  and needs  of their various schedules of duties,  as well as the modern day public services

Addressing staff at the opening session of the retreat, the Administrator/CEO Public Institute of Nigeria, Dr Abdul-Ganiyu Obatoyinbo  urged the participants to be focused,adding that the topics were carefully selected and tailored to enhance their  productivity, skills and competencies.

According to him, the on-going retreat  is also geared towards achieving the Federal Civil Service Strategic Implementation  Plan (FCSSIP) of the office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, with  the aim of transforming every participant to be Efficient, Productive, Incorruptible and Citizen-centred(EPIC).He further  stated  that, the retreat  is expected to provide the needed manpower  and professional support to driving the programmes and activities of the Institute, towards achieving its mission and vision as well as delivering on its mandate.
