PSIN SFTAS ORGANISES INSTUTUTIONAL STRENGTHENING TRAINING FOR STAKEHOLDERS.


The Public Service Institute of Nigeria has commenced capacity building programme for the staff of the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) and the Office of Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, in relevant areas in line with the World Bank approval for institutional strengthening under the Technical Assistance (TA) component of the State’s Fiscal, Transparency, Accountability and Sustainability (SFTAS) Programme.

The training, a collaborative effort between the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) and the West African and Economic Management (WAIFEM) was designed to hold in four batches within two weeks, targeting all grade levels and is aimed at strengthening the capacity of the Institute as well as Staff of the office of Head of the Civil Service of the Federation in accordance with the global best practices.

The Administrator Chief Executive Officer PSIN, Dr. Abdul-Ganiyu Obatoyinbo while addressing the first batch of the training programme, noted that the class constituted of Directorate Cadre officers, are expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism to become Efficient, Productive, Incorruptible and Citizen Centred (EPIC).

He further stated that, the contents of the training have been tailored towards unfolding Job requirements. He urged participants to make the class participatory and take full advantage of the training to improve their job performances.
