ZAMFARA STATE GOVERNMENT & PSIN CONDUCTS TRAINING AND EXAMINATION FOR 33 DIRECTORS SHORTLISTED FOR PERMANENT SECRETARIES

The Zamfara State government in collaboration with Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) has organized a specialized capacity building program and conducted examination for 33 Directors shortlisted to be appointed as permanent secretaries in the state civil service.
The Zamfara state Head of Civil Service (HoS) Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Liman while addressing the participants at the examination center told them that they were carefully selected to participate in the exercise based on seniority and track record of performance. The examination took place at the banquet hall of the government house on Wednesday 20th November 2024.
Alhaji Ahmad extoled the state governor Dr. Dauda Lawal for his support and commitment in ensuring that transparent and credible process was employed in the search and selection of the would-be permanent.

Alhaji Ahmad disclosed that the state government engaged the services of the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) to conduct this landmark training and examination for the shortlisted directors based on the institutes track record of credibility, professionalism and transparency.

The Director of Studies and Learning Mr. Tunde Adeniran on behalf of the Administrator/CEO PSIN Dr. Abdul-Ganiyu Obatoyinbo commended the state governor for the initiative and called for it’s sustenance and continuous collaboration with PSIN.

Mr. Tunde advised the participants to acquaint themselves with the rules and regulations that govern their work and schedules respectively.
