About this course
The Civil Services of the Federation, States and Local Governments are created by the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria. Section 318 (1) of the Constitution defines Civil Service of the Federation as ‘service of the Federation in a civil capacity as staff of the office of the President, the Vice president, a Ministry or Departments of the Federation assigned with the responsibility for any business of the Government of the Federation’.
The aim of this programme is to equip participants with necessary skills required to devotedly implement the policies of the government through effective and efficient service delivery.
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course, participants will:
- elucidate the dictates of the Public Service Rules, Financial Regulations, processes and procedures
- apply the Public Service Rules and Financial Regulations
- advice on issues of appointment, promotion and discipline
